VP of Sales - West

Infinisource Benefit Services is the leading provider of COBRA, Flexible Spending Account, Health Reimbursement Arrangement, Health Savings Account, Transit, and Parking benefits administration services, Plan Documents, Notice Mailings and Enrollment & Eligibility Technology for small to medium-sized companies that require a better way to offer benefits and comply with benefits laws and regulations.  Infinisource leverages industry relationships and channel partners, generally health insurance brokers, to gain new business opportunities with their employer customers. 

Purpose

Manage a team of Sales representatives responsible for sales of Infinisource Benefit Services products and services

Primary Responsibilities

  • Sell all Infinisource Benefit Services products and services, which currently include:
    1. COBRA
    2. FSA, HRA, HSA, Transit, Parking plans
    3. Plan Documents
    4. Notice Mailings
    5. Enrollment & Eligibility technology
    6. myHRcounsel
    7. Form 5500

 Meet or exceed quarterly sales targets

  • Analyze sales statistics to determine sales potential, also develop and implement new sales campaigns, initiatives, strategies and/or programs to attract new and retain current customers
  • Forecast anticipated sales, set sales quotas, and advise upper management about sales performance, while also maintaining an opportunity pipeline that exceeds the outstanding quota
  • Assess the strengths and weaknesses of the sales team, and determine how to manage the sales program based on results
  • Direct Sales Representatives' focus, set goals, look at data, motivate and help create training opportunities to improve the sales process and Representatives' performance
  • Hire, train, support and advise Sales Representatives on ways to generate leads, close sales, and improve sales performance, and keep them informed of any changes that might affect sales
  • Responsible for all follow up documentation regarding communications with prospects, proposals, pricing approvals, sales
  • Prospect for new business in area of concentration and within existing account and agency relationships
  • Develop and support lead generation activities such as cold calls, direct email, and channel management
  • Analyze competition and communicate market challenges and opportunities to senior management
  • Utilize the current sales force automation and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools according to the current set of standards, as directed by senior management
  • Expected travel up to 50% of the time
  • Perform other duties as assigned by senior management

 

 

Education and Experience

  • BA/BS required
  • Minimum 3 years sales experience in the benefits services industry
  • Documented track record of individual sales management success, including stacked rankings against peers, dollars sold, and % to quota for last 3 years
  • Superior Leadership, Analytical, Customer Service, and Communication skills
  • Experience working with basic office and sales related applications such as Microsoft Office and leading CRM platforms

  

Physical demands and work environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk and hear. The employee is required to use hands.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision for written work and PC use. The noise level is usually fairly quiet.
