Sales Administration

PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION 

Sales Administration supports the sales department management in an effort to achieve the organizational sales goals.  This position requires a strong technical background, product knowledge and service knowledge.  In a fast-paced environment, excellent communication and time-management skills are required, as well as the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement sales operations structure and organization in terms of overall process, Netsuite sales processes, document storage in Box
  • Generate reports and analytics related to sales activities and revenue data, primarily by using the CRM system
  • Ensure new sales adhere to the stated sales policy and company strategy
  • Identify and implement ways to improve the efficiency of the Infinisource sales order and booking process
  • Provide administrative support to a team of field sales representatives, including creating sales documents, proposals and agreements and ensuring accurate sales pipeline and customer information is recorded in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Train new sales department staff on sales operations, Netsuite processes and use of Box,
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • BA/BS preferred
  • Experience working with basic office and sales related applications such as Microsoft Excel, NetSuite

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office products Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook and Adobe Acrobat
  • High proficiency in Netsuite including creating reports, saved searches, dashboards, iCharts
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Resourceful and well organized
  • Ability to write customer-appropriate correspondence
  • Possess strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to contribute and be a leader for a work environment that is positive, enthusiastic, productive and rewarding to every member of the sales team

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk and hear.  The employee is required to use hands.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision for written work and PC use. The noise level is usually fairly quiet.
