BRIEF STATEMENT OF THE PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION

 

The RFP Coordinator will be responsible for managing the Request for Proposal process, including creating proposals, managing project schedules and deadlines, and delivering the completed and reviewed submissions. 

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION

  • Assist sales team members with initial evaluation and determination of Infinisource participation in RFP process
  • Participate in introductory phone calls, update CRM records, and schedule follow up calls as necessary
  • Manage the RFP process from start to finish
  • Coordinate the process including targets, due dates, deliverables, and resources involved
  • Complete all required questionnaires, assessments and other components of RFP
  • Prepare proposals and deliver proposal requirements, documents and forms
  • Assist sales team members in creating and revising contracts per terms of the RFP
  • Participate in the transition to the implementation team
  • Research sales and partnership opportunities through online RFP lead services
  • Attend events in a sales support role and interact with potential clients
  • Support the business development effort

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED FOR THIS POSITION

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in sales, marketing or related field
  • Broad experience with Microsoft Office and CRMs

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and responsive
  • Business development background and knowledge
  • Highly professional oral and written communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to build rapport with prospects, clients and co-workers
  • Experience in reading RFPs and services agreements
  • The ability to work independently or with others in a team environment

 

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

Normal working conditions require normal to close concentration, visual attention and manual dexterity. Lifting requirements less than 10 pounds. Moderate noise.
