Brief statement of the purpose of this position:
The Coordinator's role will encompass recruiting, interviewing and talent management as well as benefit and compensation administration, employee relations, regulatory compliance, staying abreast of employment law and new hire orientation.
Compile and maintain personnel records by completing the duties listed below. Assist in developing proactive employee relations programs and organizational development programs that are in support of Infinisource's culture, vision and mission. Implement and maintain programs and practices that will protect the interests of the organization, promote positive morale and provide positive and productive employer-employee relations. Position requires access to electronic PHI and technical ability to effectively navigate our cloud based SaaS HCM solution, iSolved.
Primary responsibilities of this position are:
- Recruit, interview and support talent management from "hire to retire"
- Partner with training department in conjunction with and coordination of the talent management portion of duties
- Conduct new hire and benefit orientation meetings and process enrollments for new employees
- Compute wages and record data for use in payroll processing
- Coordinate building facilities management with maintenance personnel
- Serve as a front line contact for security issues
- Serve as contact for community involvement programs
- Facilitate and process FMLA events
- Assist with research and development of new products related to achieving greater efficiencies within the HR Department
- Provide communications within the organization that promote employee understanding of programs, policies, and objectives along with developing positive employee morale
- Compile and maintain records for use in employee benefits administration
- Examine employee files to answer inquiries and provides information to authorized persons
- Compile data from personnel records and prepare reports
- Record and maintain employee information such as personal data, compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance, performance reviews or evaluations, personnel actions and termination date and reason
- Prepare and file reports of accidents and injuries at establishment
- Facilitate wellness program
- Organize appropriate employee recognition and motivation activities, including service awards, presentations, company lunches and theme events
- Support HR Management Team as requested
- Other duties as assigned
Education and experience:
Bachelor's degree in related field, organizational development and PHR/SPHR certification preferred. A minimum of 5 years HR experience required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook
- Results oriented with a high degree of accountability. True team player with the ability to facilitate change.
- Strong generalist background in a growth-oriented, fast-paced environment
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, drive, fly and hear. The employee is required to use hands. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision for written work and PC use. The noise level is usually fairly quiet.
